In our post on the various categories of first aid supplies, I mentioned the Teen Personal First Aid Kit. This post is just about my suggestions on what to include in a kit for a teen.
Every emergency bag needs a First Aid Kit. This is true especially for teenagers. Teens are also very capable of helping others in need.
They can be a valuable resource in an emergency. They will likely be helping and doing more than usual. Any time you add new or unusual activities, minor injuries may follow.

This list is a starting point. Adapt it as needed. Customize the contents and make sure the teen knows how and when to use all the supplies. Some older teens may be better served with the Adult Personal First Aid Kit

This kit has most of the items a teen would need to have in an emergency. The decision to add medications and which ones to add are up to the parents. If the plan is for the teen to carry this in a backpack to school, you may have to tweak the contents to ensure the bag does not violate any restrictions. As long as the kit is kept in the emergency bag, it should be fine.
